Our mission is to help restore the biodiversity and carbon-capturing potential of rainforests.

Since June 2020, we’ve committed to planting two trees for every pair of sneakers we sell. Our work starts in the Brazilian rainforest, where only 12.4% of the forest floor remains following widespread urbanization and agricultural logging. With the goal of restoring biological diversity in this essential biome, we plant over 120 tree species, based on what’s native to each site

  • Upper: Premium suede sourced from LWG-certified Gold Rated tanneries and organic cotton canvas
  • Lining: Organic cotton canvas
  • Sole: Slip-resistant rubber
  • Insole: Cork + bio-based foam (from mamona oil)
  • Laces: Made with rPET + organic cotton, and debossed metal aglets
  • Construction: Vulcanized sneaker; fully stitched outsole

We accept any return within 14 days from the order placement date, and process refunds within 72 hours after receiving the returned items.

The most comfortable shoe I’ve worn in years. Usually get vans half cabs with the ultra Cush but these shoes are a staple to a black and white shoe. Highly recommend!

    The sticky grip outsole is made with raw natural gum rubber in a classic herringbone pattern so that the shoe moves with you and grips.

    Its foxing utilizes thicker diagonal stripes that are actually carved into the outsole so that the channel gives you more traction and improves your flick.

    We added a triple-stitch upper at the flick point to increase the shoe’s lifespan and overall durability.

Nurturing the planet is a cause that’s very dear to us at Cariuma. That’s why we decided to start our own Reforestation Program in our founders’ homeland, Brazil, where the rainforests are home to an increasing number of endangered plants & animals. For every pair of sustainable sneakers purchased, we plant a pair of trees in the Brazilian rainforest to directly aid in the restoration and preservation of these natural habitats.
