Since June 2020, we’ve committed to planting two trees for every pair of sneakers we sell. Our work starts in the Brazilian rainforest, where only 12.4% of the forest floor remains following widespread urbanization and agricultural logging. With the goal of restoring biological diversity in this essential biome, we plant over 120 tree species, based on what’s native to each site.

For our express shipping, we joined a program called DHL Go Green, in which shipment emissions are neutralized through nine diverse reforestation programs around the world. We also capture carbon through our Reforestation Program in the Brazilian rainforest.

Raw rubber is gathered from the Hevea brasiliensis tree via ethical “tapping” (removing a milky sap from its bark).

Our signature memory foam insole is made from cork, bio memory foam & organic mamona oil.

Great shoe!

This is the second pair of high tops I bought from Cariuma. Just as comfortable as the first. Each time I wear them they get more comfortable. I love these shoes. So cute, this color goes with everything. I’m on my feet all day as a high school counselor and I enjoy wearing these!

Fit: Runs small

Fabulous shoes!!

These tennis shoes are the best!! I have difficulty with various shoes, so to find these and to have them not only look good, but super comfortable. Not heavy, quality materials and rich looking. I am a size 7, but found the 7 to be too snug especially with thicker socks or a orthotic. So I had to return for a 7-1/2. Cariuma was extremely accommodating and made it easy to return. Plus the new size arrived the very next week. Thank you Cariuma! Unusual to find good service these days.
